Professional & Personal Development Summit - FRIDAY
Day 1 of the Healing While Black Summit begins with a day dedicated to professional and personal development. This is an Affirming Summit! We will elevate the ways in which people (centering those who are Black) find, experience, and celebrate liberation and wellness. Whether in-person or online, we inspire transformative connections, critical dialogue, and celebrations that honor the resistance and resilience embedded in our collective safety, freedom, and wellbeing.
This year, we are offering to submit Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on behalf of our Healing While Black attendees. Participants can earn 6 CEU hours for completing these immersive experiences and workshops.
Note: Checks are accepted as a form of payment for organizations only. All checks must be received prior to the conference in order to complete the registration process.

In recognition of National BIPOC Mental Health Month (July), The Well for Life is partnering with Center for Wellness & Clinical Development to host – The State of Black Mental Health: Towards Liberation & Living Well. This will be a welcome reception for the summit and will feature a welcome from our Mayor, Ken Welch, followed by a paneled dialogue about Mental Health in the Black Community.
