Healing While Black 2024
The Healing While Black summit is a 4 day experience attended by clinicians, wellness providers, organizers, community members, educators, artists, public officials and other leaders. Participants engage with inspiring presenters, hear leading edge research and practice, and engage in wellness activities and celebrations throughout the weekend.
At the end of the weekend, we will have affirmed conviction that JOY is our assignment, understanding that the power, purpose, and pursuit of our joy will propel forward our movement for liberation and living well.

Join Mayor Kenneth T. Welch, City of St. Petersburg officials, and The HUB team to celebrate the opening of the first Community Support HUB in St. Petersburg.
The National Day of Racial Healing
The National Day of Racial Healing – always held the Tuesday after Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – centers around experiences rooted in truth-telling, offering people, organizations and communities a day set aside for racial healing, bringing people together to take collective action for a more just and equitable world. The St. Petersburg celebration is hosted by the St. Petersburg Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Center and The Well.

In honor of National Suicide Prevention Month, The Well is launching the Life; Matters campaign. Life; Matters is a message of hope reminding us that each of us is valuable and worthy of support. Through our stories, insights gathered from community listening sessions, and information on available resources, we aim to create a movement dedicated to safety and community care. St. Pete Community Support HUBS
The HUBS will provide trauma-informed counseling and wellness services, case management, neighborhood outreach, and additional services based on the needs of our community. As we enter this new phase, we are more excited than ever. The HUB is not just a physical entity; it embodies our shared goals and dreams. It will serve as access points throughout our community, providing places where our neighbors can receive support, share ideas, build relationships, and amplify our collective impact.

We’re listening! — The St. Pete Community Support HUBS (Holistic, Urgent, Braving Support) will provide trauma-informed counseling and wellness services, case management, neighborhood outreach, and additional services that are responsive to each community's needs. These focus group-style conversations will provide community members with an opportunity to share their hopes and ideas for the future of these HUBS.
